Pako Browser Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026 · Applies to Pako Browser for Windows, version 0.3.x

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Pako Browser ("Pako"), a web browser developed and published by Niguro ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using Pako, you agree to these terms.

2. Free to use

Pako is free to download and use. We do not charge for the browser, we do not show ads inside it, and we do not sell your data. We may offer optional, clearly-marked services in the future; they will always be optional.

3. License

Subject to these terms, Niguro grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Pako on devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial use. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, resell or create derivative works of the Pako application, except as permitted by law.

4. Third-party components

Pako runs on the Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime, which is governed by Microsoft's own terms and privacy policies. Pako also includes open-source components (such as Lucide icons). Their licenses are listed in the browser's third-party notices.

5. Your responsibility

You are responsible for how you use Pako and for the content you access with it. You agree not to use Pako to violate any law, or to infringe the rights of others. We are not responsible for the websites you visit or the content you view through the browser.

6. No warranty

Pako is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to keep Pako reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Niguro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of Pako — including data loss, lost profits or interruption of business.

8. Changes

We may update Pako and these terms from time to time. We'll note the "last updated" date above. Continued use of Pako after changes means you accept the updated terms.
